Dermatologic Surgeon | Medical & Scientific Director, The Skin Doctors’ Center of Trieste
Prof. Marini is a Dermatologic Surgeon specialized in both Dermatology and General Surgery.
He currently serves as the Medical and Scientific Director of The Skin Doctors’ Center of Trieste, one of the most advanced dermatosurgical clinics in northern Italy, where he performs Mohs surgery, laser dermatology, and both general and aesthetic dermatologic procedures.
Prof. Marini played a key role in the founding of the European Society for Micrographic Surgery (ESMS) in Portugal in April 1990. He is now an Honorary Member and serves as Advisor to the Society’s Board.
In 1996, he founded the European Society for Laser Dermatology (ESLD) in Trieste, Italy, serving as its inaugural President, and currently holds the title of Honorary Member.
He is also Co-Founder and Past President of the European Society for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology (ESCAD), where he now serves as Treasurer.
As a former Chairman of the EADV Task Force for Laser and Energy-Based Devices (EBD), he remains actively involved in the EADV Fostering Dermatology teaching program and regularly organizes advanced training courses in laser dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and photodynamic therapy.
